The Farewell Party
THE FAREWELL PARTY is a unique, compassionate and unlikely funny story of a group of friends at a Jerusalem retirement home who build a machine for self-euthanasia in order to help their terminally ill friend. When rumors of the machine begin to spread, more and more people ask for their help, and the friends are faced with a life and death dilemma.
THE FAREWELL PARTY premiered this past year at the Venice International Film Festival where it won the Audience Award. Its cast includes a roster of top Israeli actors including Aliza Rosen, best known to American audiences for her role in FOOTNOTE. THE FAREWELL PARTY made it's North American debut at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. It has been hailed as "superbly acted" (Variety) and described as "a charming tale" (Hollywood Reporter).
