This boy from Troy, with his deep, magical, wise and experienced voice, is now being compared by critics with our greatest songwriters. His style ranges from swaggering to bittersweet to grungy on songs that seriously rock. NPR's Bob Boilen writes: "There are moments when I want someone to sit down nearby and sing only to me.
