Music and the Brain: Neurology, Song and the Oral Tradition
On Tuesday night, June 18th, noted neurologists Mark Jude Tramo, MD, PhD and Kenneth Isaacs, MD, will join mythologist Daniel Deardorff, songwriter/director of Songwriting Works Judith-Kate Friedman, and Fisher Qua of the Washington Health Foundation to explore cutting edge science, indigenous wisdom, locally composed songs and spark lively community discussion at Port Townsend's Cotton Building, 609 Water Street, downtown.  

The program begins at 7pm; doors open with live music at 6:30pm. The Cotton Building is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $20 general admission, $12 students, elders, fixed income, and $50 for 'very interested persons" (VIP) preferred seating. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
