Rock-n-Roll Jesus with a Cowboy Mouth

The cowboys of Black Ribbon Theatre Company cordially invites you to Rock-n-Roll Jesus with a Cowboy Mouth, a benefit! The evening of debauchery is dedicated to help fund our first production, Cowboy Mouth by Sam Shepard and Patti Smith.

The play was written by Sam and Patti over the course of several days, locked in a room of the infamous Chelsea Hotel. They brought their humanity, bravery, and brutal honesty together to make a play that, in their case, truly held the mirror to nature. Their brief affair was a moment in time when these two artists were pulled together to leave us this lasting piece of work. A piece of work we want to celebrate through the integration of music and artistic honesty.

All ticket sales and charitable gifts will go to paying our space rental fee, buying costumes, paying our actors and creative staff, building our set, buying our props, paying for the rights to perform the show, and a number of other invaluable aspects of production.

We will have live MUSIC with performances of Tegan Walsh Davis, Dustin Whitehead, Travis Barnhart, Steven Gilpin, Redfish Magic, DJ_A1_Souse, Austin D. Oie Photos!
