Bay Street's Charity Wine Walk & Shopping Event
Bay Street Emeryville will host a CHARITY WINE WALK Saturday evening on May 18 from 4:00-7:00pm.
Guests are invited to an evening of wine tasting and hors d'oeuvre samplings amidst the collection of fine stores and restaurants located at Bay Street. We are creating an environment for shoppers to enjoy the evening in the Bay Street plaza, while supporting a good cause. The evening will include up to four wine stations, hors d'oeuvres, free music spun by the Bay Street DJ, raffle prizes, and special shopping offers. We have partnered with the American Cancer Society-Relay for Life, which is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. It began in 1985 in Tacoma, Washington when Dr. Gordon Klatt walked for 24 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. He raised $27,000 that first year. Since then, Relay for Life events around the world have raised a billion dollars to support programs aimed at eliminating cancer
For just $10, each person will receive a souvenir Bay Street signature glass for wine sampling(First 200 guests), a photo on the step and repeat wall,and a raffle ticket All proceeds from the Bay Street Wine Walk will benefit the American Cancer society, Relay for life. (All participants must also be 21 or older and show a valid form of ID.)
