Rock, Paper, Scissors: A Summer DO to Crush Kids' Cancer

Hale's Palladium in Fremont/Ballard (Fre-Lard)
June 8th. 5:30pm-10:30pm.

This one's for the kids. Owain (organizer's son) was diagnosed with leukemia 3 years ago. Three years of rough road later, he's completing mainline treatment and coming OFF CHEMO on May 21 after 1,1. This is a party to celebrate that passage, and make the road easier for the kids who travel the trail next. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT PEDIATRIC CANCER PROGRAMS AT SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.

Start with the ROCK - THREE BANDS!

What better way to CRUSH KIDS' CANCER than with a bunch of ROCK? Three awesome bands.

The Whole Bolivian Army: Original Seattle rock - crafted music with brains and soul. Check 'em out at http://www.twba.com

The Flock of Beavers: FOB is in its 6th year of making people dance their butts off - if you know, you know. And yes, they'll do the favorites, so keep shouting yours out!

Minimum Safe Distance: MSD delivers hard hitting covers. Dancing to MSD is better than kick-aerobics. You have been warned. Bring a towel.

Onto the PAPER - Raffle and Auction

Great community businesses are supporting the event with in kind gifts of charity. This is an awesome chance to get amazing stuff at amazing prices - and ALL proceeds go to the cause! Once in a lifetime experiences, awesome gear - all there at the auction or as raffle items. Come and get it!

We'll also have some kick butt SWAG on hand for purchase - Crush Kids' Cancer shirts, cycling gear, etc.

And finally, the SCISSORS - Shave for the Brave

This event will also play host to a St. Baldrick's Foundation "SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE" - many volunteer fundraisers will be shaving their heads in solidarity with the kids who are fighting cancer. Want to get in on your new summer 'do? Contact the organizer for details. Gift-able hair will go to "Wigs for Kids."
