Emily's Northern Lights
When Chef Emily first said she wanted to do a pairing dinner featuring dishes from her home state of Minnesota, there may have been a few snickers among the group. But as it turns out, the Land of 10,000 Lakes has just about as many reasons to love its food. With cultural influences ranging from native America to Scandinavian to Asian it's a difficult cuisine to define, and that's a good thing. Minnesota has a bounty of wild game, fish from its numerous lakes and rivers, a variety of produce from the abundant small farms and happens to be one of the country's largest dairy states! Join us as Chef Emily brings a little taste of Minnesota to the Outer Banks.
