Lancaster County Recovery Day 2017

The Lancaster County Recovery Alliance (LCRA) announces that our 4th Annual Recovery Day brings a change in venue to Buchanan Park, Lancaster, where family-friendly activities will be held to celebrate addiction recovery, and local service providers can showcase their programs.

The LCRA is a grassroots coalition dedicated to promoting a recovery lifestyle for those affected by addiction through Awareness, Advocacy & Access, thereby increasing the health and vitality of our county.

Recovery Day special events will be held from 10am to 3pm on September 30, 2017, starting with sign making, music, and a 1.5-mile Recovery Walk in the morning. After-walk festivities include a Hess's BBQ picnic, live music, special speaker in recovery, vendor displays, and activities for children and adults.

We welcome your support of this day of hope and healthy lifestyle awareness!

Every September, SAMHSA sponsors National Recovery Month to increase awareness of substance use issues, and celebrates the people and families who recover. Each year we join this movement to help bring the message to our own community.
