How Can I Keep From Singing?
It's a little bit of jazz, a dollop of country, a dash of musical theater, a pinch of familiar folk songs, and a healthy dose of rousing spirituals! Join TGMC, in its 22nd season, for an uplifting showcase of American music that will leave you with a song in your heart!
The concert will feature special guest soloist, Jacob Kato, a renowned baritone singer who has performed across the country in musical productions such as "Galileo and Galilei."
The Triangle Gay Mens Chorus strives to provide a venue for gay and gay-affirming individuals to develop their interests and display their singing talents. A member of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, their vision is to declare pride and touch lives by bringing brothers in song together to provide quality choral music. Founded in 1995, TGMC has performed across the United States and Canada. Under the leadership of Dr. Jay Pierson, the group performs songs from a range of musical genres, such as classical, popular, a cappella, jazz, blues, gospel and music from theatre and film.
