Domestic Medicine for the Summer Months class at Landis Valley
Experience 2 days in the life of the domestic "Hausfraa" picking herbs from the summer garden and preserving them for basic health needs. Traditional herbal preparations, wild plant identification, take home projects and samples to taste.
Please bring an apron, a small cutting board, a small sharp knife, and a pen and notebook.
Class is part of Landis Valley's 2017 Summer Institute. Class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
Please note that prices include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the 'no meals option' pricing.
Students must be age 18 or older. Please visit our website, www.landisvalleymuseum.org, for more information on Institute. Landis Valley Associates (LVA) members receive a 5% discount for Institute classes. On our website, listed with the prices of each individual class, is a code to receive this discount. Please enter the code in the "Discount Code" field at checkout.
