Bushels & Barrels Local Food, Wine & Beer Festival

The Bushels and Barrels Local Food, Wine and Beer Festival was created to celebrate all things great and local in Southwest Virginia! Bushels & Barrels will held June 16-17, 2017 and will host a variety of items from around the region including food, wineries, breweries, arts, crafts, and live music! **Be sure to read about our VIP Ticket options!

Food vendors will be serving up delicious meals made with local ingredients, artists and crafters will be selling their locally made wares. Farmers & Producers from around the region will be selling locally grown and produced items, and an array live music will be showcased!

Wineries from around the region will be providing tastings and purchases for the event. Wineries include Stanburn Winery, Preston Ridge Winery and more. Breweries on tap will include (but are not limited to) Hardywood, South Street, Apocalypse, 2 Witches and Shooting Creek..with more to come.

SATURDAY MUSIC:

Music for the main event on Saturday June 17th, kicks off with DAVE CECIL, an original singer and song writer that has been putting notes and lyrics together for years. Now on his third record, Dave plays and performs his original style of music throughout the Southeast with legendary guitarist Jack King.

Headlining the event, hailing from Folly Beach, South Carolina, DANGERMUFFIN. Easy, breezy melodies and soul-shaking grooves radiate from this genre-bending roots band. Dangermuffin brings thoughtful tunes that are both heartfelt and truthful. Their haunting harmonies and go-with-the-flow vibe invite listeners to kick back, relax, and be consumed by the ethereal rhythmic backbone and inspiring messages Dangermuffin has to offer.

Closing out the day will be ERIN & THE WILDFIRE, a Charlottesville-based band fronted by powerhouse vocalist, Erin Lunsford. Stirring up their unique sonic melting pot of rock, soul and funk. The group's striking sound, goofy charm, and relentless work ethic has propelled them to some of the Commonwealth's biggest stages.

FRIDAY MUSIC:

VIP tickets include admission to the Friday evening Pre-Party and includes 2 complimentary beverage tickets, a plated meal and lots of fun leading up to the main event on Saturday. VIP ticket also includes a 2017 Festival T-Shirt!

**A Limited amount of FRIDAY PRE-PARTY only tickets will be available in addition to the VIP tickets. **

VIP Ticket Holders will be invited to the VIP Pre-Party which will held Friday June 16th at Reynolds Homestead from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

MASON VIA BAND, originally from Danbury, NC, will be opening the Pre-Party with a 5-piece funk & Indie-Americana quintet. When these men take the stage, there is a musical chemistry that can be contagious. Whether its Masons high voltage antics as a front man, E-Jays face-melting solos, Kaseys booty shaken bass thumpin, Eli's good lovin' on the sax, or Camrys unbreakable groove, the band will captivate your senses and leave you wanting more.

Closing the night will be UBRAN SOIL, hailing from downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Urban Soil weaves Americana, rock and soul into their explosive live shows and tightly polished albums. The combination of all out, electrified, jam band inspired musical explorations and the more Americana, acoustic flavors makes Urban Soil truly unique.

Bushels & Barrels Local Food, Wine & Beer festival is a partnership among three non-profit organizations in Patrick County: Reynolds Homestead, a Commonwealth Campus Center of Virginia Tech; the Patrick County Skate Park Association, and One Family Productions, producers of Front Porch Fest. The mission of Bushels & Barrels is to mutually promote the economic development of our local food, wine, and beer producers, generate more public awareness for the local products available in our area, and increase tourism to the local area with a signature event.
