Cornelia Funke is one of today's most beloved and recognizable writers of magical stories. A storyteller and illustrator of international acclaim, she is the New York Times-bestselling author of the Inkheart series, Dragon Rider, The Thief Lord, the Ghosthunters series, and Igraine the Brave. We are honored to welcome her to Kepler's to celebrate her remarkable body of work and to talk about her new picture book, The Book No One Ever Read and her Reckless series.

Born in Germany, Cornelia Funke now lives and works in Los Angeles. She was included in Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of 2005, her books have been translated into over 30 languages, and she's sold over 20 million copies worldwide. She's worked as a social worker, board game designer and children's book illustrator before becoming a full-time author.
