Guided Permaculture Farm Tour
Farmer Sam will lead a walking tour and discussion about Permaculture and how it has been used to design the new Crystal Spring Farm. The tour will begin with an introductory explanation and history of permaculture with a focus on creating discussion around what specifically interests the group in attendance. Please come prepared with questions and notebooks if so desired. Potential topics include: food forest design, vegetable production, keyline design and pond systems, soil management, composting, mushroom production, pastured poultry, the history and mission of Crystal Spring Farm and plenty more. Attendees should be prepared to walk through wooded trails, pasture and garden.
