Prelude- an introduction to something greater. With this concert being Ms. Logan's first dance endeavor as sole choreographer and director, she felt the title would be fitting as she finds her voice as a young artist. Prelude is a modern dance concert that will take the audience on a journey of discovery. With three re-stagings and two premier works (Prelude and Solos in Three) the concert centers around the idea of finding one's individual voice. Each of the five pieces will explore the spectrum of how we as individuals and as a community discover who we are. The concert will feature four dancers Ciara McCormick, Ashleigh Claire Miller, Elizabeth Voiles, and Samantha Weissbach.

Holly Logan is a Choreographer, Dancer, and Dance Educator in the Seattle area. She began her dance training at 13 years of age where she studied Ballet at the Performing Arts School of Metropolitan Toledo, as well as Jazz (Giordano Based), Tap, and Musical Theater. Ms. Logan went onto graduate from Kent State University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Since her graduation in 2009 Holly has has worked as a performer with companies such as Verlezza Dance (Cleveland, Ohio), and here in Seattle with Sixth Day Dance as a performer, Choreographer, and instructor.
