Classic Tap Dancing Workshops
'Classic Tap Dancing'old Broadway style, in the spirit and tradition of Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Gregory Hines, and my own tap teacher Mary Jane Brown, who stood in the wings of her father's vaudeville house when she was a little girl and watched Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson tap dance.
We'll explore where tap dancing comes from, and what cultural and ethnic energies continue to shape it and give it life. And we'll discover (or rediscover) what it really feels like to tap dance.
