WHY ART? Since 2007, RYP has partnered with the Maryland Institute College of Art to build a robust community arts program. Whether you are an artist, a collector, or an art-lover, we hope you can appreciate the transformative powers of art. For refugee youth who are new to Baltimore, creative outlets provide a platform for expression, a place to explore their changing identities, and for many, a universal language that requires no words.
*100% of proceeds will help establish an after school program for newly arrived Syrian youth in Baltimore.
*Early Bird tickets sales end March 26th!
*Special thanks to MICA's Office of Community Engagement for sponsoring the event and to Stan Mazaroff, Sarah McCann, and Cheeny Celebrado-Royer for their contributions.
