Engineering Mystery Bag Challenge
Come celebrate Maryland STEM Festival week with our 4-H high school robotics team, Green Machine Reloaded FTC 4318
Are you ready for an Engineering Mystery Bag Challenge? Join us for our take on "Master Chef" for an afternoon of hands-on STEM fun. Pick your Mystery Bag which contains all the ingredients you can use to inspire your creativity and complete your engineering challenge. It's not a competition, anyone can be a Master Engineer!
This event is for children ages 7 to 10. Time is 3:30 to 5:00. It will take place in the Patapsco Room at the Miller Branch of the Howard County Library. Caretakers may enjoy the library while the kids tackle their engineering tasks.
BRING OUT YOUR SHOES: We will be collecting gently used shoes during this event. Clean out your closets and help micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries. Our team receives funds for collecting the shoes. For full details see Shoes for Robot Parts
Green Machine - Reloaded FTC 4318 has competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge program for the past six years. We have a long track record of running technology workshops for kids in our community. Most recently we hosted a fund raiser for Historic Ellicott City. For details see: Bots for Main Street
