Auditions for CityDance 2016-2017 School Year

If you are unable to make it to the August 24 audition, please join us on Saturday, September 10, 2016!

Led by Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance prepares young dancers for 21st century careers with specialized training, rich performance opportunities, and strong connections to the professional dance world.

We do allow for walkups, but online registration is encouraged and will make the audition process more seamless.

AUDITION SCHEDULE
September 10, 2016:

Ages 7-8 - Rockville Studio E
Registration check in: 8:30-9:00
Ballet: 9:00-10:15am
Contemporary: 11:30-12:30pm

Ages 9-11 - Rockville Studio E
Registration check in: 9:45-10:15
Ballet: 10:15-11:30am
Contemporary: 11:30-12:30pm

Ages 12-15 - Strathmore Studio 405
Registration check in: 10:00-10:30
Ballet: 10:30-12:00pm
Pointe: 12:00-1:00pm
Contemporary: 3:30-5:00pm

Ages 15-19 - Strathmore Studio 405
Registration check in: 12:30-1:00
Ballet: 1:00-2:30pm
Pointe: 2:30-3:30pm
Contemporary: 3:30-5:00pm

DRESS CODE

Please bring a headshot and a full body shot, which does not need to be posed.

Female: black leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic straps, black dance shorts and bare feet for contemporary
Male: fitted black or white t-shirt or tank, black men's tights, black /white ballet shoes

At the conclusion of the audition, students accepted into the program will be sent individual class placement for the upcoming session.

PARKING
At our Rockville location, parking available in the lot in front of the building.

At our Strathmore location, there is free parking in the Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro parking garage and at the meters along Tuckerman Ln on weekends.
