Audition Boot Camp

Have you you avoided auditioning for your favorite show because you are too scared about the audition process? Have you been unhappy with your recent auditions? Are you looking for an extra push with your audition material? Are you a parent that has NO idea how to help your child with her audition material? Look no further! We will explore monologues, songs, cold reading, and dance auditions in this Audition Boot Camp. Led by Melissa Charles, a professional actress, choreographer, and member of SAG, AFTRA and Actors Equity Association, as well as an experienced audition coach for on-camera and theatre. If you are planning to audition for the Union Street Theatre summer season, this is a great opportunity for you to get a head start on the dance audition material, and to get comfortable in the audition space. This class is for ages 8 through adult, younger children may make private appointments for audition coaching by emailing info@UnionStreetTheatre.com. Parents are welcome to attend and take notes, ask questions, and even go through the process yourself! Use this opportunity to get rid of your nerves and work on the material in a safe environment. Classes are Wed. April 11-Friday April 13 from 1PM-5PM at 109 S. Union Street. Please be prepared with a monologue and song selection prior to the class.
