Hungry to discover Santa Cruz off-the-beaten-path?  Our Food Tour starts in Downtown Santa Cruz and explores the Mission Hill Historic District, Victorian-lined Walnut Avenue, and the downtown central district.  Our journey includes tastings at:

-An organic scratch-made ice creamery.
-Award-winning local microbrewed beer.
-Sri Lankan inspired Asian fusion restaurant.
-Estate bottle European olive oil and balsamic vinegars.
-Mediterranean from-scratch eatery with the best pizza in town.

Join us on a Non-Touristy Culinary Walking Tour in Downtown Santa Cruz.  We will show you the hidden side of Santa Cruz as we fill you up with some of the best food in town.  

Tour Details:
-All food is included at our 5 tasting locations.
-Historical, cultural and architectural insights along the way.
-Guidance on other fine restaurants and cafes in downtown.
-Coupons unique to our tour for discounts at our tasting locations.
-A 3.5 hour guided walking tour of downtown Santa Cruz.  Walk is 1.8 miles, mostly flat with one hill.

Pregunta: hi, how many people do you allow on the tour? I am plannign a bahelorette party for 10 and would like to make sure I can fit us all on one tour. thank you, Nicole ntramos@live.com
Respuesta: We can take a total of 12 people per tour, however, with a public tour there may already be some tickets sold that won't allow your whole group to attend. Sounds like you want a private tour. email us at scfoodtour@gmail.com and let us know the date or dates you are thinking of and we can set you up.
 
Pregunta: Hi, I have Celiac (meaning I can't have gluten/mainly wheat flour). Is this tour friendly for that?
Respuesta: Hi, yes, there is a gluten free option on our downtown tour.
 
Pregunta: is tax/tip included in this cost?
Respuesta: Tax is included. There is no tipping at each tasting. Your ticket covers all the food and gratuity costs at the restaurants. Most people tip their tour guide.
 
Pregunta: One other question - my friends 6 yr old daughter has a very restricted diet. Is it possible she can just come along and not have the food? Or bring her food separately? Her parents would love to come buts a lot of money considering she can't eat.
Respuesta: Every participant on the tour requires a ticket. Not so much for the food, but for the spot they take up that eliminates another potential ticket holder. We have a limited number of people each tour that we can bring into each tasting location. I'd say your friend should pass on this tour.
