Alika has become one of the Spanish speaking Roots Reggae Dancehall's leaders, deeply influenced by Hip Hop, the music she heard since she was a little kid and helped her took her first steps in music.

In 1994 formed Actitud Maria Marta, one of the first HipHop bands of Argentina. AMM performed a lot of live shows during that period of time and was finally rewarded as 95' revelation. Alika parted ways with Actitud Maria Marta in 98 having a mainstream record: "Acorralar a la Bestia" (1996, Polygram).

In 1999, Alika decided to start her own project based on Rastafari culture, focusing on writing direct lyrics, mostly about respect, dignity, oppression of the western system, self-confidence, life in third world countries and the common issues of living in a "barrio".

Her charisma and presence in stage allowed her to play in big festivals, sound systems, theaters, clubs, schools, hospitals, prisons, etc in different cities around the Americas and Europe such as: USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain and Andorra, a really amazing career for an independent artist.

In September 2007, Alika launched her new exclusive cloth line -Alika 3D- which had great acceptance. Clothes are available in Argentina in every Isabel la Catolica store. www.isabellacatolica.com.ar

August 14th 2009 Alika introduced her new sun glasses model, developed by world acclaimed VULK, available in Argentina and Mexico. By the end of 2006, Alika collaborates with Mad Professor in the album "Alika meets Mad Professor", entirely produced by the genius of Dub himself. This album was released in 2009 and is currently available on the Itunes store.

In September 2007, Alika released her exclusive clothing brand -Alika 3D- which had quite an acceptance. Alika 3D clothes are available in Argentina on every Isabel la Católica store (http://www.isabellacatolica.com.ar)

In 2009 Alika presented her sun glasses brand along with VULK, available in Argentina & Mexico. Alika has also been nominated for best independent artist in MTV 2009 awards
