Artistic Reflections Middle School Summer Art Cafe Workshops

Artistic Reflection's Middle School Summer Art Cafe Workshops allow students to explore their own unique creativity through different art mediums. Artists are encouraged to follow personal themes to express themselves through art.

The following workshops will take place on Sunday Evenings from 6:30-9:30pm. There will be a snack break, with a snack/dessert and drink provided.

July 12, 2015: Mixed Media Creations - Unleash your creativity while experimenting with different materials and mediums. Students will create a beautiful, unique piece of mixed media art on canvas.

July 19, 2015: Piece by Piece Mosaics - Discover texture, movement and color by taking small pieces of stone/glass/other materials, and creating a beautiful piece of art.

July 26, 2015: Express Yourself - Art Journaling and Vision Board Workshop - When words are not enough to express yourself, you can use colors, shapes, images. Students will take home a tool that they can continue to use when they want to celebrate something, work through issues, and/or express themselves when words are not enough.

August 2, 2015: Shine a Light on Your Art - Choose a positive, inspirational word, and use paint and lights to create a beautiful and powerful piece of art on canvas.
