From Pen to Page: Creative Writing for Everyone

What better way to begin the summer than with a creative writing workshop designed to get you producing new work right away? Facilitators Lisa Colburn and Summer Hardinge will invite you to write to a variety of prompts, then share your work by reading it aloud if you choose. The best part? NO CRITICISM. In the Amherst Writers & Artists method, only the strengths of the writing are celebrated. After all, it's a first draft! Your inner critic will be invited to stay at home.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Wednesday nights, June 3-24, 2015, 7 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Faith Like a Mustard Seed Farm, 42906 Lucketts Road, Leesburg, VA 20176

COST: $100 for the four workshops. If you register by May 20, the cost is $90. $30 drop-in is available to those who have participated in a full workshop series with one of the facilitators.

BRING: Your writing notebook and pen. Also a little extra cash if you would like to purchase food & drink from the farm store where we will be meeting.
