The "Journal to the Self" program was created by Kay Adams, founder of the Therapeutic Writing Institute, in the 80's.This four week psycho-educational class provides participants with 18 techniques to use for journal writing. Using a "whole brain" approach participants learn how to make use of techniques that are good for data driven cognitive work, developing insight and honing intuition.

Your facilitator:
Diane Finlayson is a lifelong journaler. She credits her journal practice with enhancing her creativity & effectiveness and promoting greater self-awareness, qualities that have been very useful in her announcing work at WYPR-FM and her clinical supervision work in the Yoga Therapy program at Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly TAI Sophia). She looks forward to introducing you to techniques that can open up your journal in a new way.
