The Great Pretender presented by: Heralds of Hope Theater

"The Great Pretender" is an original play written by Ivy Hawkins. The true lives and secrets of six women, who are close friends, gets revealed at a pre-marriage wedding party for the youngest member of the group.

The play reveals how women are able to mask their feelings from those closest to them, keeping their personal challenges with husbands, marital infidelity, betrayal, lies, pain, and love from view. Ultimately truth will not be denied, the masks must come off and the truth revealed.

Unmasking will take center stage and force each of the women to acknowledge who they are and deal with each other in love and truth. This is a wonderfully serious and lighthearted play for mature adults of all ages.
