5th annual NYCNECT Health Professions Education Conference & Technology Summit

The New York City Nursing Education Consortium in Technology (NYCNECT) presents the 5th Annual Health Professions Education Conference and Technology Summit, an event for educators to share and review the work of nursing and other health professions educators who share a passion for teaching-learning with technology and innovative teaching strategies.

The conference focuses on innovative teaching and learning techniques utilizing various types of educational and health information technologies to address barriers and improve learning outcomes in nursing and interprofessional education and practice (IPE).

Themes and topics may include:

Simulation
Informatics and Health Information Technology
Telehealth and telemedicine
Mobile learning and mHealth
E-learning and distance education
Interactive platforms and multimedia
Instructional design and technology
Educational technology
Faculty development and leadership
Interprofessional education and practice (IPE)
Institutional adoption of innovative pedagogy and/or teaching-learning technologies
Social learning conventions
and more.

CUNY Attendees & NYCNECT Transformers (All cohorts):

General/Non-CUNY:
* $35 with advance registration (Closes January 9)
* $45 from January 9 through January 20
* $60 on-site
